Summery: For Evelyn his heart broke, for Jack it simple gave up and died
He’s crying in front of a mirror again.
But this time the tears are harder, hotter, and his throat is sorer from screaming into his pillow. His chest aches, his legs shake from lack of food and his eyes blur under a fresh wave of tears.
For Evelyn his heart broke, for Jack it simple gave up and died.
His body racked with another sob, he leaned into the sink, he spat bile from his mouth. Soon he’s vomiting in the toilet. Tears streaming down his face, body convulsing-this is his life now. This is all that’s left for him, the grief.
Twenty minutes later he forces himself to stop, he silently begs his legs to just carry him the few steps to Jack room. When he enters the room he’s overwhelmed with the smell of stale cigarettes, of dirty clothes, of Jack.
Bobby lifts the one thing in the world that could take away the pain. He holds it tenderly in his hands. But he has to be sure that when it takes the pain it always give him back his love.
So he says a little pray, begging to be forgiven for his wrongs, begging to just be with his brother again. He sobs when he finishes, he doesn’t know if it worked or not, but he can’t live like this. He can’t live at all-not without Jack.
Seconds later he puts the gun to his head, and imagines what it’ll be like to hold his Jackie again.
